  1. The SmartKeys 2 INIT cannot be found. Reboot with SmartKeys installed (System Folder in System 6; Controls Panels folder in System 7) and be sure the shift key isn‚Äôt held down at startup.

  3. SmartKeys is unable to save changes to the preferences file. Check that your disk is not locked and has room available.

  5. The current script system is not the Roman one. SmartKeys will not intercept any typing.

  7. The current keyboard mapping is not the US one. The shifted punctuation smartkey will not intercept any typing.
